Transcript
Seating Chart keeps the active Class, its Classroom, and its current Seating Plan together in one teaching workspace.
The header identifies the Class you are teaching. Here, the fictional Period 2 Biology Class is open in Room 214.
Switch to Roster when you want the same Class as a searchable student list instead of a room layout.
Roster keeps student tools, search, seat assignments, and Class activity close at hand.
Return to Seating Chart to see students in the physical Classroom and work with the current Seating Plan.
Class and Classroom stay distinct, and each Class can keep multiple named Seating Plans for the room.
That classroom-first workspace is the center of Seating Chart.
